July Damage Prevention & Safety Meeting

Presenter: David Spangler (NPL) Dig Smart Excellence Awardee

Damage Prevention & Safety Meetings are typically held on the 4th Tuesday of the month and provide a forum for owner-members (utility-companies), locators, excavators, call center management, homeowners and all other damage prevention stakeholders to discuss topics related to safety and damage prevention. Each meeting provides a safety presentation from a guest speaker and lasts about 1.5 hours.

Topics discussed can include: ticket processing, mapping, law updates, Ticket Check®, work site issues, damages, training, events and outreach campaigns. Excavators can typically resolve work site issues at these meetings.

Refreshments will be available at 9:00AM with the meetings beginning at 9:30AM. All will held at the Miss Utility call center in Hanover, MD and guests can enter using the first-floor side entrance to the conference room. Registration is not necessary.
